ARGOLIS

Argolida Prefecture, Peloponnese Region

Argolis, located south of Corinth, can be considered essentially its extension, as it presents similarities in both the climate and the morphology of the vineyards. The region corresponds to approximately 7% of the total area of the PDO Nemea zone, one of the two most important Designations of Origin for red wines in Greece. All the main grape varieties cultivated in Corinth are also found in Argolis.
