Main areas: Aegira, Aigio, Akrata, Diakopto, Dymi, Erineos, Kalavrita, Larissi, Patra,
Rio, Sympoliteia, Tritaia, Farres, Oleni, Kalentziou, Leontio. Zone characteristics The
largest PDO wine zone in Greece, with a single and continuous section and scattered
“islands” of vineyards. The mountainous landscape dominates, especially in the
Aigialeia area, where the most charming part of the vineyard is created.
